During the current year FOTCO achieved following major operational and maintenance landmarks:
  1. Since commissioning of the terminal a milestone of berthing 1000 ships was achieved on May 21st, 2007. M.T "ALMUKHTARA" was the 1000th tanker berthed at the terminal.

  2. A record number of ships in a month, was achieved during May-2007 by handling a total of 15 ships. The berth occupancy during May-2007 was 78%.

  3. The highest annual throughput since commissioning was achieved during the year 2006-07. A total volume of 8 million tons was handled during the financial year 2006-07.

  4. Highest standards of Maintenance were retained at the terminal. Replacement of two damaged fenders was scheduled with a Terminal shutdown period of 72 hours, however due to the very high berth occupancy a shutdown of the Terminal was not possible. FOTCO engineers utilized every minute of available time and replaced the damaged fenders within twelve (12) hours on May 30, 2007. Maintenance of the terminal to the highest standard was demonstrated by completion of this task through team work and dedication of the FOTCO employees.
